Wyoming has double the STEM professionals than previously known

Rachel Kerestes, Executive Director of Science is US, spoke to Caitlin Tan at Wyoming Public Radio about the recent People of Science analysis.

The report shows that STEM professionals comprise one-third of Wyoming’s workforce–a number higher than previous estimates. That may be because Science is US takes an inclusive view when defining STEM workers, including all professionals regardless of their level of education. In Wyoming six out of ten STEM professionals do not hold a bachelor’s degree.
