STEM work is a path to success for New Mexicans

Rachel Kerestes, Executive Director of Science is US, along with Mia Peterson, Executive Director of the New Mexico Technology Council authored a new op-ed for the Albuquerque Journal, “STEM work is a path to success for 363,000-plus New Mexicans.”

In the brief article, Kerestes and Peterson discuss New Mexico’s status as the 14th most STEM-intensive economy in the United States and how to capitalize on that edge; increasing access to careers in manufacturing, health care and defense. Read the full piece here.
