State Spotlight: Florida

Florida’s dynamic and diverse economy is producing new jobs in science, technology, engineering and math-related fields at a rapid pace.

According to two analyses of Bureau of Labor Statistics data, Florida added more than 450,000 STEM jobs between 2017 and 2021, a 12.4% increase which is more than twice the national average.
